I have set up a largish database in Lotus Approach to hold patient data with links across to patient appointmnents and to my GP database.

Should I decide to buy the full product ( Undecided ) could I import my data as CSV?

Also, can I merge data to Lotus Wordpro? and can I insert an image into merged letters and as signatures in e-mails?

Hi

Welcome to the forum! We often carry out data conversions from other databases. The best thing to do is to call our sales team on 0845 0680 777 and we can discuss your specific requirements. Importing from a csv file is normally no problem at all.

With regards to merging data into Wordpro. PPS only works specifically with MS Word for automated letter creation, but you can create export merge files from PPS to use with Wordpro for individual letters or mailshots - in this case PPS does not create the letter in Wordpro for you, but supplies the merge fields to a file that Wordpro can use.  PPS also includes its own simple word processor which you can use as an alternative.

If you are using MS Word or Wordpro then you can insert any images required to the letter. For e-mails, PPS can use HTML-style emails which can include as many images as required.

Hope this helps
