Is there any way that the system can sound an alert when a patient has arrived.

Hi Jo

You can set up your diary to send a message to the practitioner when the patient has arrived. In turn when the message pops up on the practitioners screen it will play a sound - like the standard email "notify" sound.

these set up options are all in the tools menu for the diary options and the practitioner set up.
